Alumnae

Welcome to the Oxford Girls' Choir Alumnae Association

The Oxford Girls' Choir Alumnae Association was formed in 2020 with a view to keeping former members in touch and meeting up for social events, concerts, workshops and recordings. We warmly invite all former members of the choir to join us.

Please sign-up by completing the Online Registration Form.

In the 35-year history of the choir, Richard Vendome has trained hundreds of singers and we would love to make better use of this unique resource of vocal talent. Even if it has been a few years or more since you sang, you might be surprised how quickly it all comes back. All are welcome.

In July 2020, almost 30 alumnae, accompanied by Oxford Youth Choirs patron Roderick Williams, recorded a special virtual choir version of 'Can't Help Loving That Man' as a (belated) 70th birthday surprise for Richard. You can watch the video on YouTube
The event spurred a small group of former choir members to form an official Alumnae Association.

Until it is possible to rehearse and perform in person, we will be organising online rehearsals and virtual choir recordings of old favourites from the OGC repertoire.

If you would like to be involved - and we very much hope that you do - please register using the Online Registration Form which just takes a minute to complete.

Do share this page with any former choir members you are still in touch with!
