You are warmly invited to join the celebrations for the 40th anniversary of Oxford Youth Choirs at a very special summer concert involving all our choirs and alumnae. We are thrilled to have two internationally renowned musicians performing with us at the event - choir patron Roderick Williams (baritone) and jazz pianist Colin Good.
The event will mark the retirement of OYC founder and director, Richard Vendome, who has trained and nurtured the talents of hundreds of singers since starting the choir as Oxford Girls' Choir in 1984. Many of our alumnae have gone on to become professional singers and musicians and we're delighted that a large number of them will be returning to sing with us.
The concert will include a selection of classical and jazz highlights from the choir's vast repertoire.
We are expecting this to be a sell-out event so please book your tickets early to avoid disappointment.
